Canada Drives donates $6000 to Rare Disease Foundation
Canada Drives, a Vancouver-based business that helps people across Canada find auto-financing programs, announced today the launch of their innovative community outreach program with a donation of $6000 to the Rare Disease Foundation.
Board Chair, Isabel Jordan, and Executive Director, David Cox, were on hand to tell the Rare Disease Foundation story and to field questions about the innovative programs that the Canada Drives donation is helping to fund. Questions and interest ranged from information on the types of programs that are funded to how decisions are made about what kind of research is being done.
Parallels were drawn between the young business and the young Foundation as both started within a year of each other and have seen incredible growth across the country. Partnerships like this between individuals, businesses and the Rare Disease Foundation will help to fuel continued growth in the expansion of the Rare Disease Foundation’s innovative peer mentoring and research funding programs.
