Rare Disease Foundation Fundraising Fall Classic Run
October 26 @ 8:30 am
The Rare Disease Foundation is partnering with UBC Rec and BC Children’s Hospital Foundation for a new and exciting event – a non-profit organized marathon! This is a replacement for the community event Lace-Up for Kids we participated in annually in the past.
Money raised will go directly the Rare Disease Foundation Microgrant program. As you know, research is care because pre-existing treatments are almost never available for their unique disorders. Rare Disease Foundation’s collaborative Translational Care model drives patient-based, treatment-focused research projects from disease characterization to treatment with greater efficiency.
The Rare Disease Foundation will have an information table at the event and a group of our volunteers will be running the coat check area.
