The Rare Finds gala is designed to be a Feast for the Senses featuring music, wine wall raffle and renowned BC chefs who present their culinary delights in a fun and spirited competition where guests enjoy the opportunity to vote for top Chef. New chefs are joining us this year, to compete with returning chefs, including: Blue Heron Cheese – Executive Chef Karen McAthy, Railtown Catering – Chef Dan Olson, Independent – Chef Steve Fecho, Beach Bay Café – Chef Max Straczek, Tableau Bar Bistro – Chef Catherine Stewart, Canoe Catering – Chef Jesse Jobin, Fable Diner – Chef Josef Driemel, Roger’s Arena – Chef Michelle Botelho, Xoco Westcoast Chocolatiers – Chef Kevin Young, Cacao Barry Chocolate Arts Chez Christophe, Mark Pennington (CB) & Chef Christophe Bonzon, Cadeaux Bakery – Kieran Wong, Steel & Oak Brewing Co, Bridge Brewing Company, Dead Frog Brewery, Bittered Sling/ELISA – Katie Ingram (mixologist), Rosewood Hotel Georgia – Robyn Gray (mixologist), Sovereign Wine & Spirits – Julia Diakow (mixologist).
Chefs entice votes from guests using only the finest local and sustainable ingredients in their creations.
This year’s entertainment is Adam Growe, host of Cash Cab, he will be performing his hilarious Quiz Show! It’s your chance to win prizes out of his pocket live on-stage in a short comedy show with a trivia twist!
Plus, he’ll give you some rapid fire trivia for prizes as you arrive and walk the Red Carpet.
